Presented by Refinery 29 DC Editor Holly Thomas, this comprehensive trend report will highlight trends from the New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion week collections.

A mini-semnar on branding, marketing and promoting for designers, photographers, bloggers, MUAs, hairstylists, retail entrepreneurs and others involved in the business of fashion. Guests will enjoy a complementary mani-bar by George Bacchus Salon and Spa and mini makeovers by Motives makeup artists. The evening’s featured guest speakers will be Kristin Ikenson from DC Magazine, Katherine Martinez from La Petite Marmoset and a surprise guest from the fashion retail industry.

Clothing Drop off from 5:30 to 6:45 PM

Swap 7-8:30 PM

$10 to swap with at least five items, $15 without. Do not bring undergarments, bathing suits, soiled clothing, or clothing with holes, tears or pilling. All items must be clean, new or gently worn. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine at The Getaway from 5:30 to 7pm (1400 Meridian Place). Free Swapaholics reusable shopping bag while supplies last.

WORLD SWAP DAY WITH THE DC GOODWILL FASHIONISTA

Join the DC Goodwill Fashionista at the Arlington Goodwill store location and swap women’s clothing, shoes and accessories. You’ll have a chance to mix and mingle with other savvy Goodwill shoppers and spread a little “swaplove.”

There will be a $1 raffle tickets for some great prizes:  Two Goodwill gift certificates, free admission to a future swap event by DewdropDC, and an entire Rock Band set! The funds from raffle ticket sales will go directly to Goodwill of Greater Washington’s job training and support programs.
