The Events DC and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities will unveil Windows Into DC: Cultural Couture, a public art fashion project at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center with the DC Fashion Foundation. Windows Into DC: Cultural Couture, a local art installation and fashion design initiative, will serve as the cornerstone of the emerging local fashion industry to help facilitate, educate and engage the greater community on fashion as an art, business and economic opportunity. This event is supported by Mayor Vincent C. Gray; Kwame Brown, Chairman, DC Council; Jack Evans, Councilmember, Ward 2; Greg O’Dell, President & CEO, Events DC ; Lionell Thomas, Executive Director, DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities; and Christine Brooks-Cropper, President, Greater Washington Fashion Chamber of Commerce & Founder of the DC Fashion Foundation.
