Bonus Event: Independent Retailers Conference

This is an event for all of our D.C. retailers. While this conference is not taking place in D.C., we wanted to share this exciting event with our local retailers who maybe interested in participating/attending.

Independent Retailer Month is a global ‘Shop Local’ campaign that highlights the important role local merchants play in the community, economy and overall retail sector, is returning for 2012 and will be held throughout the month of July.

The initiative invites independent retailers nationwide to come together and make a difference in their communities through enhanced consumer engagement. By embracing July as a key month for ‘shop local’, small business owners are encouraged to let their creativity flow with events and promotions aimed at increasing consumer spending, and gaining additional publicity.
