My First Experience At A Gilt City Warehouse Sale!
by ATFDC Summer Contributor Kayla Phillips
Saturday I went to the Gilt City Warehouse Sale in DC at the Long View Gallery. It was my first time at a Gilt City Warehouse Sale, and it was crazy! There were so many people browsing all the clothes. There were shoes, purses, dresses, coats, jewelry, sunglasses, and even children’s clothes , books, and games.
I purchased a white cashmere cardigan by White + Warren for $49.00, Jimmy Choo wedges, and a black sweater dress from BCBG. There was coconut water, chips, and cocktails being served. The clothing and shoes were organized by size. In the middle of the room there was a table with accessories like belts, jewelry, sunglasses, wallets, and purses. There were also children’s games, books, and some house wares. I was surprised to see children’s things there. The dressing rooms aren’t for the modest either. It was just one big room for women with some mirrors. The line was really long too, but I hope to go to another Gilt sale one day because I found really good deals.
So while camera’s weren’t allowed in, I had to take a quick snapshot of my new wedges!
