Tools of the Trade: Must-Have Hair Products for the Perfect Blow Dry – Guest Kara Manos

Tools of the Trade: Must-Have Hair Products for the Perfect Blow Dry – Guest Kara Manos

by ATFDC Guest Contributor Kara Manos

I have to admit, prior to writing a beauty blog, I had no clue how to properly blow dry my hair. I actually settled with the decision that my budget for manicures and pedicures would likely be spent on numerous blow drys (but seriously, who’s complaining?) Lucky for me, after some well researched YouTube tutorials, I’ve mastered the art of a perfect blowdry. OK, maybe I haven’t mastered it, but I’ve come very close to it. But if there’s anything I’ve learned it’s not just about technique, it’s also about products that are right for my hair type. Read on to see my must-have hair tools of the trade:

  1. T3 Veloce Hair Dryer. For me, this blowdryer is all about the nozzle, not to mention it’s lightweight and reduces my total drying time. Totally worth the splurge and will last a long time.
  2. T3 Anti-Gravity Barrel Brush. This static-free brush is a must-have. There’s no way I’d not travel with this brush. Ideal for polishing and volume, I am a huge fan (and so are my tresses).
  3. Moroccanoil Hydrating Crème. I can’t live without this hydrating cream that immediately fights frizz and leaves my hair looking shiny and healthy.
  4. Kerastase Chroma Thermique. I recently just started applying a small amount to my hair before blow drying. I consider it my treatment that will protect my hair from those hot and steamy blowdrys, not to mention protects against harmful UV rays.
