26 Sep My Life As A Fashion PR Girl in DC: Recycling At Its Best! – Guest Contributor Ashley Arias

Fall weather has arrived, which means it’s the month of FASHION! Hard to believe September is already here! With all the fashion events in the area, along with Tysons Galleria: All Access Fashion at the end of the month, its time for some wardrobe changes. Well being a fashionista on a budget, there are sacrifices that must be made; the biggest (in my opinion) is recycling your wardrobe. Let me just say… There is no shame in wearing the same thing twice (it just has to look different!) The key to being able to recycle outfits is being creative. Let fashion blogs, magazine and street style inspire you to stare at your closet and create a masterpiece of an outfit!
With events almost once a week, I have had a lot of bonding with my wardrobe collection. Take a close look at this dress… Can you tell it’s the same dress? This little black number has been worn numerous times backwards, with a belt, without a belt, with flats, you name it, and I have probably tried it!
Layering is my favorite thing to do. It’s easy and doesn’t take too much effort. All you need is something as simple as a leather jacket to change a whole look! This Rag & Bone top has been worn under almost every blazer I own! You’ll probably spot me wearing it out! (It is one of my favorite tops.)
Now its time for you look at your closet and see how you can recycle!
